THE ALCHEMIST

A 7-Day Residential Initiatory Experience in Tuscany

Move from Understanding to Lived Reality

ASHA, Tuscany

WHY THE ALCHEMIST EXISTS

The Alchemist exists because many capable, thoughtful people sense that something essential is missing—not in their understanding, but in how fully they are living from it. Knowledge accumulates, insight deepens, yet life does not always reflect what is known to be true.

This journey was created to help people bridge that gap.

By working in presence, relationship, and real time, participants rediscover the ability to move from clarity into action, and from intention into a life that feels coherent, engaged, and alive.

A structured, land-based initiatory experience held in Tuscany.

This is a contained, professionally guided residential experience held over six full days.
Participants move through a precise sequence designed to surface what has remained unclaimed, restore internal coherence, and establish a new relationship with choice, agency, and meaning.

Building inner strength doesn’t need to be heavy.
It can be:

  • deep and light
  • unexpectedly energising
  • rigorous and fun
  • structured and alive

A live land-based hero’s journey, based on Anthony Abbagnano’s book, Out Chaos, Inner Calm

A 7-day residential journey, with 6 full days of guided immersive work for those who are serious about inner development and seeking a meaningful next step forward in life

  • Serious inner work does not have to be solemn.
  • It can be deep and light.
  • Rigorous and playful.
  • Demanding and, at times, unexpectedly energising.

The only way we can create change in our lives is by claiming responsibility for that which we wish to change. That way responsibility is a tool, not a burden.

Anthony Abbagnano

CREATING ALCHEMY

What if clarity were no longer something you accessed occasionally, but something you lived from consistently?

In this journey

Responsibility frees energy

Choice becomes clearer

Action becomes possible

THE CORE PRINCIPLE: CLAIMING

In this journey, responsibility becomes a source of freedom

— Anthony Abbagnano

The 7-Day Experience At ASHA

Arrive

Meet your guide Anthony
and open the door to the Secrets of Asha

THE CLAIMING

Deepen into the foundations of choice and responsibility, while maintaining lightness, connection, and uncovering the inner child as a source of vitality and protection – and understanding oneself.

ENDS WITH A WIN

Participants leave this phase resourced, clearer, and often surprised by how much energy returns when responsibility is claimed.

THE HELD THRESHOLD

This day consolidates what has been claimed, with guided solitude, land-based rites, grounding breath and movement, light collective touchpoints, and support.
Grounded, calm, and quietly encouraging – participants emerge with confidence and resolve, ready to continue.

THE PRACTICAL & SUPERNATURAL

The focus is on bringing what has been claimed back into real life, where “spirituality”  meets practicality. Integrate everyday relationships and responsibilities into your breakthroughs, meeting forgiveness, and celebration as shared acknowledgement for the journey you share.

EMBODIED INTEGRATION

What has been claimed is anchored into the body and everyday life. Through guided practice and reflection, inner authority and self-trust are strengthened, preparing participants for a grounded return.

CLOSURE AND DEPARTURE

The journey closes with clarity and a clear sense of completion. Participants leave with calm, agency, and renewed capacity to engage with their lives and work, and set up to continue the integration at home.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This journey is for those who recognise that understanding alone is no longer sufficient.

It is suited to founders, leaders, practitioners, and individuals at meaningful life transitions who have already done inner work and are ready for a deeper level of integration.

IMPORTANT BOUNDARIES

This retreat is not suitable for individuals with unstable bipolar conditions, schizophrenia or psychotic vulnerability, those in acute psychological crisis, or those without prior inner development experience.

COMPLETION AND PATHWAY

Completion is based on presence, participation, and crossing a meaningful inner threshold — not simply attending.

This retreat is both a culmination and a threshold.

Those who complete the journey may be invited into further training, leadership, mentoring, or recognised pathways such as Calm Coach – Initiate Level (working title).

GUIDED BY ANTHONY

The Alchemist includes rare, dedicated time with Anthony as architect, initiator, and witness of the journey, supported by an experienced and attentive team.

If you feel a genuine yes — and a sense that responsibility might be lighter than you imagined — you are likely in the right place.

Nourishment for Body and Soul

Every meal at BreathCamp is a celebration of conscious living.
Our culinary team prepares fresh, home-cooked plant-based and vegetarian dishes, inspired by seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Each dish is designed to nourish your body and uplift your spirit, aligning perfectly with your breathwork journey.

If you have special dietary needs or allergies, simply let our team know when you register — we’ll ensure your meals are tailored to your comfort and care.

At ASHA, food is more than sustenance — it’s a way to connect, restore, and share joy with your retreat community.

Nourishment is not separate from the work. It is part of it

Yes! We are now offering monthly payment installments with a 20% up-front deposit. Please note that your balance must be fully paid 2 weeks prior to your arrival at Breathcamp. To take advantage of this offer, select ‘Deposit with installment payments’ from the dropdown at checkout.

Yes, free wifi is available in the main house and Dharma Den, though not in the rooms, or around the property.

We suggest picking up a TIM or Wind SIM card when you arrive Italy. Because ASHA is half hour away from a major town, it’s important to pick it up before coming to ASHA.

At ASHA we have 7 cats, and 2 dogs. Given the sensitive nature of cats (and previous not so great experiences with dogs chasing them) leashes are required – and strictly enforced. And no, our dogs are not on leashes as they are integrated with our cats. They know who the boss is, and we know where they poo. We are surrounded by endless woods where your dog can roam free, though please keep them on a leash while at ASHA. Also, please be mindful of cleaning up poo so no one steps in it! There’s a 40 euro donation fee per pet.

We now have a new laundry mat in town in the center of Castel’Azzara village, only a 20 minute walk away, under the arches. It’s super easy to find.

Smoking is only permitted in the parking lot. Please do not smoke inside or outside of your room, in the common areas, or other areas of ASHA, and all camp locations. And do consider that smoking isn’t a part of our culture, and not encouraged.

Please keep in mind we are a well-being center… this just isn’t the place for smoking, drugs, or alcohol. Like to have a glass of wine here and there? Sure. Though we trust you understand the nature of this work, and will not abuse the use of wine, just because it’s part of Italian culture (at ASHA, and in general while staying in the area).

There’s one grocery store – The Co-op – and veg store, and a Thursday morning produce/general stuff market as well. The Co-op does have some organic dry products. We recommend bringing any speciality items. It’s basic in Castell’Azzara, not bad, though basic.

There are many hiking trails around ASHA! If you’re interested, we recommend checking with our community member Stuart, who knows pretty much all of them. Castell’Azzara is surrounded with beautiful villages, such as Pitigliano or Sorano. There are also many historical sites dating back to the Etruscan people, the ancestors whose spirits are still spreading blessings to the land around ASHA. There are many natural hot springs within half hour of ASHA, including Bagni San Casciano and Bagni San Fillipo.

Kids are welcome at ASHA, and a huge part of our vision. There’s plenty of space for them to roam around in a safe environment. Please be responsible for them at all times, including their clean up in communal spaces. Kids can only stay in private accommodation with their guardian (tent, glamping, camper, or private cottage) – not in shared accommodation with other students. Kids under 10 eat and stay for free. Kids 11 and over are charged for food and accommodation at New Member pricing, with a 20% discount. Attentive kids are welcome to join Breathcamp at the discretion of the trainer and facilitator of each session. Reach out to info@asha.global for more information, and to receive a special 20% coupon code. This offer applies for each kid in a family.

Please contact info@asha.global to check availability.

Yes! Please keep in mind that due to the nature of our work, intimacy is usually at an all time high. Please don’t mistake that as an emotional or sexual invitation. Be considerate of others’ personal space, and don’t assume anything. And… please keep sexuality in general out of the equation unless you arrived as a couple. Together, let’s protect a safe space for everyone.

Absolutely. We suggest setting your own boundaries, and clearly communicating them as needed. You’re also welcome to reach out to the mentors and team if you need support. Take your space as needed!

We finish after lunch, around 2 pm on the final day.

You’ll need to pay for each retreat individually. Our system doesn’t allow for multiple bookings at one time.
