Facilitator Training and Courses Refund Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy is subject to change at any time. The published version at the time of the request will be the version used to determine your refund eligibility.

  1. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and can be submitted to: info@alchemyofbreath.com.
    Requests must include the name provided at time of enrollment, a detailed account giving the reason the student wishes to withdraw, and why student feels a refund should be issued.
  2. ADMIN FEE: An administration fee of 30% of the full, and is counted, program cost, will apply to all refunds. There are no exceptions.
  3. If a student has enrolled in a course, but not entered the course, and the period between enrollment and notification of withdrawal does not exceed 14 days from the enrollment date, a refund will be issued for the full amount of the course fee, less the Admin Fee. If you choose to cancel within this period you will receive a refund of the price within 30 days if you are eligible for refunds.
  4. PAYMENT PLANS: If tuition is being paid via a PAYMENT PLAN, then enrollment in all courses covered by the payment plan are subject to the same terms as if tuition is paid for in full and in advance. For these purposes, Tuition is considered to have been received by THE COMPANY upon signing of the payment plan agreement.
  5. TECHNICAL ISSUES: Refunds are not available for students who have experienced technical issues. Although we work hard to do everything possible to avoid issues, many aspects of the technology fall outside of our control such as hosting and server functionality.
  6. Once any online materials, membership access to any Facebook Groups (or others), access to Intellectual Property belonging to Alchemy of Breath, or links to such materials have been delivered to the student physically or electronically, there shall be no refund applicable.
  7. TRAINING TRANSFERS from one training to another may be permissible as may be postponements of attendance for personal reasons, such as relocation, change in family circumstances, or other factors deemed approvable by the Course Trainers and the Administration. These shall be evaluated on a case by case basis, and in any event entry into a new class must be within 6 months of the last date of attendance, and the relevant Trainers must be satisfied that any material already delivered remains current and that the student is not required to retake the training from the beginning. There will also be a fee of USD 1000 for training transfers.
  8. DISCOUNTED COURSES. No refund will be provided on discounted courses or payments that have been made with discount codes at time of purchase.

Refunds for online courses

Alchemy of Breath strictly does not offer any refunds for its online courses and online shop products.

Cancellation of courses

If the AoB cancels a face-to-face course or webinar due to the illness of presenters, severe weather, technical issues, or other emergency conditions, the School will attempt to reschedule the event. Whilst every effort is made to avoid changes to our programme AoB reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any course. If for any reason AoB cancels a course, all course fees will be returned in full. We cannot however reimburse the cost of any pre-booked travel arrangements and suggest that you consider travel insurance to cover any significant costs incurred. This applies to courses such as  Seeds of Alchemy, or any new (as not yet published or announced residential) courses we may offer in the future.

The Alchemist Refund Policy

Refunds for the Alchemist:

  • 100% refund for cancellation 60+ days before event.
  • 50% refund for cancellation 30-59 days before event.
  • 0% refund for cancellation 0-29 days before event.

Changing to a room with a higher rate: must be payed the difference
Changing to a room with a lower rate: no refund
Increasing the number of days: must be payed the difference
Decreasing the number of days: no refund

BreathCamp Costs

The price for a 10-day graduation camp is between 125 – 230 euros per day (depending on accommodation choice). 

Travel to and from ASHA is not included. 

Meals are included and provided onsite, and staying at ASHA is required (see details below under Accommodation Information).

For Bali Breathcamp, Alchemy of Breath is not responsible for any accommodation and or food package for Breathcamp. These are the responsibility of the attendee. Please contact The Ark / your accommodation provider for any Terms & Conditions. 

Refund Policy & Booking Changes

We do not offer refunds.

To protect against potential financial loss, we strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance.

Should we cancel Breathcamp, we will refund the full amount, minus currency exchange and bank platform fees we may be charged.

If you need to change your booking, we will do our best to accommodate you through the option of attending a different BreathCamp at a different date, based on availability.

Please note, the original location of your BreathCamp booking is non-transferable.

To request a change for ASHA, please email us at info@asha.global with the subject line “DATE CHANGE REQUEST”. In your email, kindly provide the desired date, and reason for the change. Graduating students please also provide the name of your trainer.

For processing change requests: please note that we require a minimum of 45 days’ notice prior to the start date of the originally booked BreathCamp.  Change requests made after 45 days prior notice to start date are not available.

Covid Policy & Refunds

To protect against potential changes or regulations related to Covid-19, we strongly advise obtaining travel insurance. As the situation surrounding Covid-19 is constantly evolving, we will keep you informed of any updated testing requirements closer to the date.

We suggest bringing your own yoga mat, and allowing ample time for any necessary testing.

Please note that due to the impact of Covid-19, we are unable to offer refunds. In the case of a force majeure event, refunds will also not be available.

In the unlikely event that we must cancel the Breathcamp, we will refund the full amount, excluding any currency exchange and bank platform fees incurred.

Accommodation Information

All participants attending ASHA BreathCamps are required to stay onsite. The exception is for community residents who live locally at least 6 months per year. They pay tent rate on the student page.

About Tents in Glamping in May and September at ASHA:

Please note that the weather can be variable and it is difficult to predict in September, therefore for the tent and glamping options use at your own risk, refunds are not possible.

COVID Event attendee waiver

Alchemy of Breath (AOB) and Alchemy School of Healing Arts (ASHA) continue to stay current of policy and procedures during the COVID19 pandemic. The safety and wellbeing of our campus community, including students, guests and visitors, is our top priority. AOB & ASHA have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the COVID19 virus; however, under no circumstances, are they able to guarantee that you or a guest will not become infected with the virus while on premises and in surrounding areas. Therefore, participate at your own risk.

By accepting this event attendee waiver and release of liability form, I acknowledge the contagious and evolving nature of COVID19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to the virus and become affected as a result. I understand the risk of becoming infected may impact members of the community, event guests, and event attendee’s families or personal contacts.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any expense, liability, illness, injury, disability or death related to contracting the virus while attending Breathcamp 2023 hosted at ASHA, and our other locations. I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless AOB or ASHA from all claims of any kind arising out of COVID-19.

I understand and agree that release of liability includes any claims towards AOB & ASHA, the founders, personnel, representatives, venues, and students whether a COVID-19 infection occurrence exists before, during, or after attendance and participation to Breathcamp 2022. I agree to be bound by all terms of this waiver, as indicated by my signature below

Waiver of liability and hold harmless

As one of the conditions of my participation, specifically release AOB, ASHA, its students, agents and employees from any claims or liabilities of any kind whatsoever, arising from or related to my participation in its activities, including accidents, medical, personal, etc.

Mental Health Acknowledgment and Responsibility

I recognize the importance of good mental health for my safe participation in AOB, ASHA’s activities. I hereby pledge to promptly notify ASHA of any issues or concerns with my mental health that might affect my participation. I further understand and agree that I am solely responsible for consulting with my own therapists, doctors, or other healthcare professionals regarding my mental health and that AOB, ASHA is not responsible for providing or ensuring such consultation or support.

Photo release

I agree to grant to AOB, ASHA and its authorized representatives permission to record on photography, film and/or video, pictures of my participation. I further agree that any or all of the material photographed may be used, in any form, as part of any future publications, brochure, or other printed, digital or online materials used to promote AOB & ASHA, and further that such use shall be without payment of fees, royalties, special credit or other compensation.
