Alchemy Student Graduation

April 22 – 27
After the huge success in Barcelona we have found an incredibly beautiful off grid venue for our April BreathCamp in Europe. As there are limited places available, if you are coming to graduate please be sure to book before the end of February to guarantee your place.

Each time we do a BreathCamp, we are reminded of the ‘why’ that motivates us to do this wonderful work. Join your peers, colleagues, Mentors and Masters of Breath as we co-create what will be one of the most powerful experiences of a lifetime, as you come together for the final stage of training: Graduation.

There are 40 places available, and they’re on a first come, first serve basis. Students must come for all days. Mentors are also welcome.

The Alchemy Student Graduation retreat has been highly curated to offer you the most holistic approach to healing and learning available.

  • Daily breathwork and education sessions: Unlock the power of conscious breathing as you already know it. Gain insights and awareness from holding space for your peers, from angeling support, and your personal breathwork practice. Deepen your knowledge with further workshops relating to your practice, including bodywork, appropriate touch, boundaries, and ethical practice, and increase your level of understanding tenfold as we work in person. Release any final unresolved blocks in your work, and become embodied in your expanded awareness.

  • Constructive, reflective feedback: Enjoy daily feedback circles to help you grow exponentially in self-awareness and inform your practice.

  • Opportunity to make changes in your life: Using fun exercises, deep inquiry, and the breath, learn what it feels like to work as a team with your fellow students and discover your unique way of offering the breath. Get traction where you need it most, and transform relationships into vibrant co-creativity in this loving, supportive, community of practice.

  • Daily yoga/meditation sessions: An essential practice to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit, these daily yoga/meditation sessions are a crucial tool in the development of self-awareness and healing process.

  • Healthy, raw/vegan/vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner: Nourish yourself on all levels and fuel and energize your body while you work, with our healthy, nutrient-rich, plant-based meals every day.

  • Comfortable, beautiful accommodation options:Book your place according to your budget and your personality. Some prefer shared rooms and dorms, others private space to replenish and restore. Whatever your preference, we can meet your needs.

Put 9 months of hard work and commitment to your studies into practice with this 5 days of intense programme. With the guidance our teachers and team offer, you’ll develop the confidence to move from student to professional and offer breathwork to the world. Remember that first spark of interest, the moment when you first heard the call? Now you get to see the fruits of your inspiration become manifest. Congratulations!

Please then also join us on the 27th April for 7 further days, where we’ll invite the public into the group and you’ll see the transformative power of the Alchemist program first hand. If you want to attend the second half of the retreat, we encourage you to book it at the time of booking your graduation to ensure a place.

The foundation of the second part of the camp is rooted in our innovative Alchemist program, purposely designed to create change. Attending this portion is the first step in applying to teach the Alchemist material. Once you’ve graduated and mentored through 3 Alchemist programs, you’ll be able to share this with the world. Please stay tuned for information on this new Alchemy of Breath program.

Hidden Paradise

HIDDEN PARADISE is a family-run retreat centre nestled in the foothills of the Alpujarra mountain range in the South of Spain. It’s a serene and peaceful place designed to provide a natural, inspiring, and supportive environment for you to relax, renew, and restore your inner well-being.

Andalusia is important in “The Alchemist” because it symbolizes the start of Santiago’s (Saint James de Compostela’s) journey. He decided to pursue his Personal Legend there and today thousands walk his trail to learn about themselves and their relationship with the Divine.

Enjoy stunning views down the valley toward the Mediterranean Sea at this off-grid power spot. Harness the energy of thousands who have come to this part of the world to further their inward journey.

From our hosts:
A gift from the abundant southern Spanish sunshine!
We have substantial solar systems supplying all our electricity & hot water.
An abundance of sun & spring water enables us to offer you a luxuriously comfortable stay,
with little effect on our glorious planet.

Andalusia’s age-old history has left behind a wealth of artistic heritage. The Alhambra in Granada, the Great Mosque of Cordoba and the Giralda Tower and old town of Seville are all World Heritage sites, but the majority of its towns and villages also bear witness to the peak of Andalusia’s artistic heritage over the ages. The stunning Moorish, Renaissance and, above all, Baroque architecture can be seen in its most important buildings, the castles, fortresses and monasteries to be found throughout the region, complete a hugely valuable array of heritage. There’s more to explore than you’ll find time to manage.

Our experienced chefs take pride in creating delicious, healthy meals using home-grown and where possible organic and always locally-sourced ingredients, to prepare nutritious raw, vegan and vegetarian dishes.

We are happy to accommodate the needs of guests with allergies to particular foods and often prepare gluten and dairy free meals – all served with love!

Teacher & Founder

Anthony Abbagnano is the founder of Alchemy of Breath. He’s also the founder of The Ark in Bali, Indonesia, a retreat center dedicated to community health and emerging consciousness, and of ASHA (Alchemy School of Healing Arts), a retreat and community center located underneath a medieval village in Southern Tuscany.

With 40 years of personal breathing practice and exploration, Anthony has explored many different styles of the breath, including rebirthing, LeBoyer, holotropic, transformational, Sufi breathing, and pranayama. Now he brings his life experience of motivational speaking, shamanic studies, clinical hypnotherapy, Bodytalk therapy, Conscious Loving coaching (Hendricks Institute), sound healing and medicine, and aromatherapy to his breathwork teachings and trainings.

As a result of his own healing journey, including his survival and transformation from a near-death experience, Anthony holds tender space for the depth of journey that some need to make as part of their healing path, transforming what has troubled them in the past into the joy and ecstasy that a breathwork practice provides.

Emily Ray Henderson

Master Teacher

Emily Ray Henderson is a Master Teacher of Alchemy of Breath. She is also a certified Wellness Counselor, Reiki Master, Massage Therapist, 500 HR-RYT Yoga Instructor and Facilitator with The Kula Collective as well as a Ceremonial Space Holder.

Emily uses a compassionate and intuitive approach to integrate mind, body & spirit to assist people in making a change, creating balance and finding joy and passion in life.

Emily loves magic, cacao, dancing and connecting with nature and the ancient cultures of the world. She has a lightness of heart that is contagious and works gently but deeply with people through their transformation.

Pablo Castro

Master of Breath / Trainer

Pablo Castro walks the dream and talks it too. A devoted student of the Breath and all it brings, Pablo leads workshops all over the world, using the Breath and his delightful lightness of being to support and guide groups through valleys and over mountains.  A master of living on his own tender edge, Pablo has transformed his sensitive nature into a strength that encourages others to take the risk, step out of their comfort zone and into the exploration of new possibilities. Currently based in Bali, Pablo brings the magic of the Island to the Alchemist, and a heart full of love for this work.

He has been with Alchemy of Breath for over three years, sharing the breath, as well as serving as a teacher for their Facilitator Training. Pablo practices a gentle approach to transformation, recognizing the importance and potency of feeling safe and honoring one’s personal journey. “When we embrace our shadow, develop a relationship with our inner child and find our center, we regain our own ability to truly take care of ourselves and hold space for whatever comes up”.

If you get a chance to breathe with Pablo in water, take it. His talent for holding tender space is extraordinary.

“This experience brought me a clear perception of the reality of my current situation. It gave me structure and calm. I let go of the ever-present control, feeling spacious, my outer and inner worlds together: the perfect ground to make important decisions and roll on light-heartedly with life. If someone thinks about giving it a try…just do it, don’t hesitate! Thanks to all the breathers, thanks to Anthony…you are my family”

“It was like travelling to another world, one I can come to whenever I want. I felt a vibration, a relaxation and much more a state of peace. A special place where I don’t need to protect myself from anyone. I’ve been on an astral voyage!”

“Such a beautiful trip. Went so deep every time. I dropped right into my heart when you mentioned: “I believe in me”. Funny, I had never thought about believing in myself before. Now I will hold that dearly and I wish the same for everyone else. Thank you Anthony.”

“This is such an opportunity to connect to my self and to deal with so many emotional things. I feel all the things I’m attached to which have no purpose. All the fears and traumas that I have faced, I now feel blissful in the most complete way. The breath makes me focus on my true self and all my potential. Thank you all for the sharing, the love and the commitment.”
