Why Trying to Push it Away only Creates More…

Anxiety puts your body on high alert as it is looking for possible danger and this activates the synthetic nervous system and your fight or flight response.

Stress hormones released, causing more anxiety and creating a self-perpetuating cycle that if left unaddressed will negatively impact your personal and professional life, weaken your immune system and increase your risk for depression and nearly every chronic disease.

What if we get this to work for you instead of against you?

Have you ever decided to buy a car in a particular color and then begun to see that same car everywhere? This happens because of a part of the brain called the Reticular Activating System (RAS).

Likewise with anxiety, The RAS takes instructions from your conscious mind (e.g. ‘I need to avoid public places to keep safe’) and passes it on to your subconscious mind, which becomes alert and diligent to your request.

If you consciously decide ‘The world is dangerous,’ ‘I can’t do ___ ,’ or ‘I definitely have that rare disease,’ the RAS will go into overdrive finding evidence to prove that assumption is true –  and anything that proves otherwise will be filtered out.

So the more you focus on the negative, the more negative things you will see and experience. Remember the cliché ‘When it rains, it pours’? Thinking in old ways will repeat old circumstances.

The Science Behind
‘Transforming Anxiety’

If you’re new to using the breath therapeutically and skeptical of its effects don’t take our word for it, look to the science. Research shows your breathing has a profound effect on your emotions, your nervous system, your mental functions, your state of mind and sense of wellbeing. And there have been thousands of studies over the past decade showing breath exercises are either equal to or superior to medications and other standard medical practices for the treatment of anxiety disorders, stress, PTSD, and depression.

With this Transforming Anxiety Course, You Will:

Replace anxiety and overwhelm with passion, pleasure, and purpose. Take all the energy that was formerly squandered on stress and worrying and transform it into something Positive and Productive.

The 10 days of the course are as follows:

Day 1

What is Breathwork?

You will learn how to cultivate breath awareness and why the breath is your most powerful ally against anxiety. You will also lay the foundation to switch out of fight or flight mode which releases stress hormones and causes you to feel anxious, overwhelmed, and stuck.

Day 2

Tapping Into the Felt Sense & Creating More Choice Points

You will learn a Felt Sense (body intuition) meditation to connect to your inner wisdom and the messages of the body; and to open up to the subconscious and adjust old programs that fuel your anxiety. You will also learn about the ‘anxiety spiral,’ the relationship between trauma and overwhelm, and how to restore your sense of choice.

Day 3

Connecting to Positivity, Gratitude & Your Safe Place

We will explore gratitude and tap into a positive memory that you have and find out where that feeling lives in your body. We will embody that feeling with a short meditation that will become an important part of your toolkit and will help to get your RAC working for you instead of against you.

Day 4

Creating an Anxiety Immune System with the Transformers Breath

Research shows the higher your Heart Rate Variability (HRV) levels the more resilient and adaptable you are and individuals suffering with anxiety disorders have a chronically low HRV. In this class we will learn a powerful breath practice that you can use to increase your HRV, become more present, and dissolve anxiety at its onset.

Day 5

The BIG Process

The BIG Process is a process to undertake during times of anxiety, overwhelm, fear or when you feel triggered. It can be applied in the present time, and we will also use it to go back to times in the past when these feelings were present and the breath was lost. This process will help to re-connect fragmented parts of yourself and soothe the wounds of the past that often fuel anxiety.

Day 6

An Acknowledgment Practice

We will expand on your commitment to focus on the positive and measure your accomplishments rather than where you fall short and learn how to halt the ‘anxiety spiral’. You will gain confidence in your ability to handle so much more that life throws at you, change the energy of anxiety into excitement, and change ‘I can’t’ thoughts into ‘I can’.

Day 7

Reclaiming Your Power & Recognizing the Miracle that You Are

Looking for solutions outside us only gives our creative force to someone or something else. It’s time to take back the reins, and learn to ride a winning horse!

Day 8

Building on Your Anxiety Toolkit

In this class we will learn a breath practice that incorporates sound and vibration healing to create an instantly relaxed state of mind and body. This is the key to staying in the saddle, and enjoying the ride!

Day 9

Gathering All the Tools & Integrating Your Learnings

You will integrate lessons 1 through 8 and learn how to apply these tools in your daily life. We will tie it all together so you can conclude this journey feeling empowered, inspired, and fully at ease.

Day 10

Embodying Your Learnings with a Conscious Connected Breathwork Session

You will go on a deep inner journey that will transform your consciousness and connect you with a higher wisdom. You will return home with a renewed sense of resilience, connection, purpose, and inner peace.
